Uzbek ambassador briefs Ulema about Ziyarah tourism potential
ISLAMABAD, MAR 19 (DNA) – Ambassador of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidikov met with Sheikh Muhammad Hanif Jallandhri, Secretary General of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan which is a Government registered largest examination board of religious educational institution in Pakistan.
Both sides discussed organizational matters of the visit to Uzbekistan of the prominent religious scholars from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and South Africa in April of 2019.
The delegation of these Ulema comprises more than 20 leading scholars of Islamic world, especially from Pakistan.
The main purpose of the visit is to study the most favorable conditions created in Uzbekistan for the development of “Ziyorat Tourism” as well as to establish bilateral contacts with scholar of Uzbekistan, visit newly established Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent and others significant places and organizations.
During the visit the scholars will also visit Samarqand, Bukhara, Tashkent, Termez and other places.
It may be mentioned here that Uzbekistan recently organized a mega conference to promote Ziyarah tourism. Over 120 delegates from across the globe attended the conference held in Bukhara.
Uzbekistan government has laid special emphasis on promotion of tourism and especially Ziyarah tourism because Uzbekistan possesses rich religious and culture heritage.=DNA
