Important link to catch culprit in Zainab rape case found, claims Punjab govt
LAHORE, JAN 12 (DNA) – The Punjab government found important link to catch the culprit in rape and murder case of the 7-year-old Zainab, a spokesperson revealed on Friday.
Talking to media, Ahmed Khan assured that the government of Punjab will soon hold the rapist accountable and punish him for the henious crime.
He told that the law enforcement officials have received forensic reports of the 7-year-old which will help them locate the murderer. “The murderer will soon be arrested,” he assured.
Khan admitted that their government is yet to take a number of measures for the protection of children, adding that meaningful steps are essential. He stressed the need to educate and aware the elders so that such incidents can be avoided in future.
