Imam-e-Ka’aba meeting with Nawaz Sharif was never scheduled
ISLAMABAD, MAR 11 (DNA) – There is some controversy about meeting between Imam-e-Kaaba Al-Sheikh Dr Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Talib and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif that the visiting dignitary refused to meet with Nawaz Sharif.
Information gathered by DNA from various sources have revealed that this meeting was never scheduled therefore there was no question of refusing the meeting on the part of the worthy Imam.
Sources further disclosed that some elements that want to create misunderstandings between the two time-tested brotherly nations in fact propagated this fake news.
It may be mentioned here that the Imam-e- during his visit to Lahore met with a number of dignitaries including the Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif.
Later the honourable Imam came to Islamabad and interacted with people hailing from all walks of life at the residence of Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Nawaf Saeed Al Malkiy. The Saudi ambassador hosted dinner for the visiting dignitary.=DNA
