Huawei launches budget 5G smartphone Honor V30
TOKYO, NOV 27 – Chinese tech giant Huawei launched its first smartphone model to support 5-G capability, the Honor V30.
The phone has a dual sim card and supports all six frequency ranges of China’s three major mobile operators — China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom.
It has super fast download and upload capabilities, taking less than ten seconds for the V-30 to switch from 4-G to 5-G.
George Zhao, president of Honor, calls the new premium phone a benchmark for 5-G.
“In the future, 5G can bring the ends of the world within your reach. It joins two hearts that are far apart. That’s the charm of technology. Technology can also be very sexy. Technology should be the best blessing and the strongest signal of our times. As a benchmark for the next generation communication, the Honor V30 has defined the standards for 5G cellphones,” said Zhao.
