Five ambassadors leaving Pakistan after completing term

ISLAMABAD, JUNE 10 (DNA) – Ambassadors of various countries are set to leave Pakistan after completing their term in Pakistan.

According to diplomatic sources, Ambassadors of Argentina, Australia, European Union Syria and the Netherlands are set to leave Pakistan as they have completed their term in Pakistan.

Ambassador of Bulgaria Mr. Roumen has already left Pakistan after spending over 11 years in Pakistan. The Bulgarian ambassador came here as Charge d Affaires and later he was made ambassador.

Ambassador of European Union Jean Francois Cautain who spent an eventful tenure in Pakistan will also leave soon. Ambassador Cautain took the Europe Day festivities from hotels to open areas thus providing a large number of people with a chance of taking part in the Europe Day celebrations.

He picked up Lok Virsa for to be the venue for the first Europe Day function to be held in an open place. Then he chose lush green lawns of Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) for Europe day function held in 2018 and 2019.

Likewise Ambassador of Argentina, who stepped into shoes of his predecessor Ambassador Rodolfo, is also completing his term in Pakistan. Ambassador Ivan shall soon host a reception also in order to bid farewell to his friends.

Ambassador of the Netherlands Ms. Ardi has been posted to Indonesia therefore she will also leave Pakistan soon to take up her new post in Jakarta.

High Commissioner of Australia Ms. Adamson on Monday issued her final message to media as she will be leaving in few days. Farewell reception for her has already taken place.

The term of the ambassador of Syria Radwan Loutfi is also ending and he is expected to leave in August this year.

Similarly some new ambassadors have also arrived in Pakistan including Ambassadors of Palestine, Jordan, Japan and Tajikistan. All these ambassadors have already presented their credentials to the President.= DNA
