Extremist Hindu organizations involved in worsening situation: Nisar

ISLAMABAD, June 30 (DNA): Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has on Thursday said that extremist Hindu organizations were involved in worsening situation. He added that the details regarding the arrested Indian spy from Balochistan Kulbhushan Yadav have been obtained.

Talking to journalists in an informal meeting in Islamabad Thursday, Chaudhry Nisar said that Tehran had provided Pakistan with details of the Kulbhushan Yadav’s aide. He told that all the details of Yadav’s stay in Iran have been received.

Responding to a question about Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif presiding over important meetings, Nisar said that such reports were completely baseless. He added that PM’s daughter did not enter politics formally yet. He told that her meetings with foreign envoys were only in her capacity as PM’s daughter.

Answering another question, Nisar said that the investigations of corruption were not being carried out by the government. He said that people must understand that it was not the government investigating corruption, but National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He added that PM was himself of the view that Panama Leaks must be investigated.

The federal minister said that he was amused at the corrupt people singing rhymes of honesty. “I’d like you to ask the accusers about Surrey Palace’s ownership”, said Nisar. He added that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s father, his aunt and other people in his party had assets worth billions of rupees. He asked the journalists to question Bilawal about the taxes paid on those assets
