Electrocution of three youth: FIR registered against K-Electric
KARACHI: AUG 13 (DNA) – A first information report (FIR) was registered against K-Electric on Monday night over electrocution of three youth in Defence area of Karachi during recent monsoon rains.
The case was lodged by deceased Hamza’s father at the Darkhashan Police Station against K-Electric for their alleged negligence which caused death of three youth in Defence area.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) K-Electric Arif Naqvi and other officials were nominated in the case.
Meanwhile, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar also reached Darakhshan Police Station to register a case against K-Electric for their alleged negligence which caused death of 30 persons on the occasion of Eid.
Waseem Akhtar said that he filed an application against K-Electric as a Mayor of Karachi. He further said that police took six hours to register an FIR against K-Electric.
