By-election in PB-7 Ziarat constituency underway
ZIARAT, MAR 26, (DNA) – By-election on Balochistan Assembly seat PB-7 Ziarat is underway on Sunday, Samaa reported.
A representative of the election commission stated that eight candidates are contesting the bye-election.
The commission has set up 59 polling stations for the polls. 59728 registered voters, including 32395 men and 27333 women, will exercise their right to vote in the by-election.
Strict security measures have been taken to make sure no untoward incident takes place during the polling process, which will conclude at 05.00 pm.
The seat fell vacant after the death of Gul Muhammad Domar of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam
