Dengue fever claims one more life in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI (DNA) – One more dengue fever patient died at the Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, raising the death toll from the deadly disease to 78 in Islamabad and Rawalpindi this year.
According to details, 38-year-old Attia w/o Younus who was a resident of Ghori Town Phase-4 was brought to Holy Family Hospital four days ago after medical tests proved that dengue virus was present in his blood where she died today during treatment.
On the other hand, 20 new cases of dengue fever were reported in various hospitals of Rawalpindi during the past 24 hours after which the number of dengue patients in Islamabad and Rawalpindi during this year has risen to 14,208.
