BNP’s Mengal demands PTI to resolve issues of Balochistan
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Akhtar Mengal on Thursday while expressing his reservations over giving citizenship to Afghan refugees said that speedy efforts to resolve issues of Balochistan.
He said this in his meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen in Islamabad. Defense Minister Pervaiz Khattak was also present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed matters pertaining to country’s political situation and Balochistan affairs.
During the meeting, Akhtar Mengal demanded the PTI government to fulfill the promises it had made with the BNP, adding that his party has reservations over giving citizenship to Afghan refugees.
Sources told PTI leader Jahangir Tareen while expressing determination to implement the agreement signed with the BNP and said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has special interest in Balochistan’s development.
He said that the sense of deprivation in Balochistan will be eliminated.
