5 522 state, private and family preschool education institutions are established during the year
TASHKENT, JAN 24 – As previously reported, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addresses the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.
Tashkent’s International Congress Hall brought together members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, deputies of the Legislative Chamber, heads of the executive and economic management bodies, representatives of non-governmental organizations and the public.
In his Address, the President dwelled on preschool education institutions.
As it is known, today there are 13 500 preschool education institutions in Uzbekistan.
The Head of the state noted that in 2019, in the system of the Ministry of Preschool Education, the coverage of children increased to 52 percent compared to 38 percent in 2018, only 5 522 state, private and family preschool education institutions were established last year.
It was emphasized that in 2020 this indicator will reach 60 percent, almost two trillion soums will be allocated for this, and 130 billion soums to cover 6-year-old children with one-year preschool education.
