  ISLAMABAD, NOV 15 (DNA) Ambassador of France Marc Barety conferred French rank on Dr Nashid Syed for promoting French language and literature. The ambassador awarded this rank in a simple but impressive ceremony held at the French embassy. The rank Officier des Palmes Académiques by the French government is awarded to individuals for promoting French language and culture in respective countries.
