FTA with China biggest hurdle in reducing imports

ISLAMABAD, AUG 31 (DNA) – Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with China has not only resulted in heavy losses but it has become a hurdle in reducing unnecessary imports, a business leader said Saturday. A free trade deal with China resulted in a trade deficit of $14 billion dollars during 2017-18 which broke the back of the local industry, said Shahid Rasheed Butt former President ICCI.
