Present curbs in IOK comparable to 1990s: Anuradha Bhasin

NEW DELHI, AUG 18 (DNA): The Executive Editor of Kashmir Times, Anuradha Bhasin has said that the present restrictions and clampdown on the media is comparable to that in the early 90s. Turkey urged UN to play active role on Kashmir

ANKARA, AUG 18 (DNA) -Turkey has urged the United Nations to play a more active role in resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute within the framework of its resolutions. The Turkish Foreign Ministry in a statement welcomed the consultations held by the UN Security Council on the recent developments in the disputed Jammu and Kashmir. The ministry also reiterated that the dispute be resolved through dialogue between the parties concerned. Pakistan condemns bomb attack on civilian in Kabul
