Sha’ban moon sighted in Pakistan
KARACHI: (DNA) – The moon of the Islamic month of Sha’ban-ul-Muazzam has been sighted throughout the country on Saturday. This was announced by chairman Central Ruwait-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman. He said that the first of Sha’ban will fall on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
NAB summons Khawaja Asif on April 9
RAWALPINDI (DNA) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi summoned former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif in assets beyond means case on April 9. Sources reveal that NAB’s joint investigation team will record Khawaja Asif’s statement. It is pertinent to mention here that the anti-corruption watchdog has served a second notice to Khawaja Asif. LAHORE, (DNA) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has barred the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shehbaz, till April 8 (Monday).
