Pakistan to sign agreement, economic assistance package with IMF: Asad

Finance Minister Asad Umar says Pakistan is close to signing an agreement with economic assistance package with the International Monetary Fund. Addressing a ceremony at Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Peshawar on Monday, he expressed satisfaction that the international lender has shown flexibility on its position. Accountability Court in Islamabad resumed hearing in Nandipur Power Project reference on Monday. Former Adviser to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan completed arguments for his acquittal in the reference. On the other side, NAB prosecutor also completed his arguments. The court reserved its judgment on the case which will be announced on 20th of this month.
