PM chairs meeting of the Federal Cabinet

Islamabad, 30 June 2018: Prime Minister Justice (R) Nasir-ul-Mulk today chaired a meeting of the Federal Cabinet at Prime Minister’s House. The Cabinet approved an amendment to include National University of Technology (NUTCH) in Schedule-II of Rules of Business, 1973. The meeting approved Financial Institution Rules, 2018 and appointing FIA as the Investigating Agency as required under Section 20(7) of Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance (FIRO), 2001. Imran Khan invites former PML-N loyalist Abdul Ghafoor Mayo to join PTI

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Saturday invited former member of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) loyalist Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Mayo to join PTI. Rangers, army officers to be deployed at sensitive polling stations in Lahore

LAHORE, (DNA) – The local administration on Saturday has prepared a security plan for Lahore for upcoming general elections 2018. As many as 600 polling stations have been declared sensitive at which, more than 6000 army and Rangers personnel will be deployed to avoid any untoward situation. CCTV cameras will be placed at the polling stations while a monitoring room will also be established.
