Russian beat Saudi Arabia 5-0 in opening match of football world cup
MOSCOW(DNA) The hosts Russian completely outclassed Saudi Arabia in the opening match of the football world cup by beating them 5-0. Russian from the outset played outstanding game of football. ‘Rising Kashmir’ editor Shujaat Bukhari shot dead in Srinagar; Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah express shock
SRINAGAR, JUN 14 (DNA) – Veteran journalist and Rising Kashmir editor Shujaat Bukhari was killed by unidentified gunmen in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. It was not immediately clear how many gunmen attacked Bukhari. Bukhari was shot multiple times when he was leaving his office in Srinagar’s Press Enclave for an Iftar gathering. Musharraf stays in Dubai, loses chance to contest elections
ISLAMABAD, JUNE 14 (DNA): General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer has informed the Supreme Court that the former president will not be returning to Pakistan, thereby disqualifying him from contesting the elections. He said he wanted to return to the country but cited the Eid holidays and current situation as hindrances. The SC has revoked its earlier order allowing him to file his nomination papers.
