Pak, Maldives ink accords to enhance cooperation in trade, education

MALE, JUL 25 (DNA) – Pakistan and Maldives on Monday signed a number of Memorandums of Understandings (MoUs) to further bolster bilateral cooperation in areas of trade, education, tourism etc. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Maldives President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom witnessed the signing ceremony.


High commissioner to India Abdul Basit opts for premature retirement

ISLAMABAD, JUL 25 (DNA) – Senior Ministry of Foreign Affairs officer, Abdul Basit has opted for early retirement, local media sources. Abdul Basit has been serving as Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India. He has submitted an application to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his early retirement. JIT to probe Lahore Ferozepur Road suicide attack
