Capital Gain Tax not applicable on sale of armed forces plots, says Dar
ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday stated Capital Gain Tax (CGT) will not be applicable on sale of plots of land given to personnel of the armed forces. “CGT will not be applicable on the sale of plots given to personnel of the armed forces,” said the finance minister while addressing a press conference. Police kills 7 TTP, LeJ militants near Sheikhupura
LAHORE: Seven suspected militants belonging to two proscribed organisations were killed in a shootout near Punjab’s Sheikhupura district during an intelligence-based police raid, officials said on Sunday. Gunfire erupted between police and 10 suspected militants early on Sunday morning in a house where the group was holed up. SRA claims twin blasts targeting Rangers in Larkana
HYDERABAD: Twin blasts targeting a Rangers vehicle in Larkana on Saturday were claimed by the Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) in pamphlets found by police at the scene, a police source said on Sunday. The explosions which took place near a Rangers kiosk on Mirokhan Road killed a soldier and injured 15 other people, including five Rangers personnel.
