President of Belarus arrives in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived Islamabad on Thursday on two-day state visit to Pakistan at the invitation of the President Mamnoon Hussain. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif welcomed the visiting dignitary at Nur Khan Airbase. Twenty-one gun salute was presented to the President of Belarus as his plane landed at the Airbase. Convicted plane hijackers hanged after 17 years

KARACHI/HYDERABAD 28 MAY, (DNA) – Three men convicted of hijacking an airplane in May 1998 were executed early morning Thursday. Shahsawar Baloch and Sabir Baloch were hanged in Central Jail Hyderabad, while Shabbir Baloch was executed in Central Jail Karachi. Information ministry directs Pemra to not broadcast Bol tv

ISLAMABAD: The federal information ministry wrote a letter to Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra), asking it not to broadcast BOL TV channel till completion of investigation into the degree scam by Axact — the parent company of the upcoming television and newspaper group.
